Watch Monday Night Football Live Streaming Houston Texans vs Oakland Raiders Live Online Week 11 match will be kick off at Estadio Azteca Stadium, Mexico City, Mexico, 21 November 2016 online, Time 08:30 ET and its broadcast CBS, ESPN, NFL Network Online.
The Oakland Raiders ‘ revolution has swept across the entire U.S. They’ve already won games in New Orleans, Tennessee, Baltimore, Jacksonville, and Tampa Bay. At 7-2, the Raiders have raced out to the top of the AFC West due in large part to their uncanny ability to win road games. In five road trips, they’re unbeaten, while they’ve gone 2-2 in Oakland.
So, it’s probably a good thing then that the Raiders’ next home game will be played in Mexico City. For Week 11 of “Monday Night Football,” the Raiders will head to Mexico for a clash against the AFC South-leading Texans.
Even if you don’t believe in the Texans despite their 6-3 record (I certainly don’t), it’s an intriguing matchup — and not just because of the game’s location. Can the Texans’ defense — which entered Week 11 ranked 13th in DVOA, fourth in yards allowed per game, and 12th in point allowed per game — stop the Raiders’ offense? To this point, they’ve been nearly unstoppable, scoring 27.2 points per game.
Their offense runs through the passing game. Derek Carr has posted a 17-3 touchdown-interception ratio, while Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree have formed league’s top receiver duo, combining for eight touchdowns and 1,439 yards.
On the other side of the ball, the Texans desperately need Brock Osweiler to transition from playing like an awful overpaid quarterback to a decent overpaid quarterback. Osweiler is currently averaging a league-worst 5.61 yards per pass; the Texans aren’t winning because of their quarterback. They’re winning in spite of him, evidenced by his 99 passing yards in their win a week ago. He’s managed to render DeAndre Hopkins ineffective. That’s how bad he’s been.
The good news for the Texans is that they’re going up against a defense that’s not all that great. The Raiders give up 24.8 points per game and are ranked 28th in defensive DVOA. If there ever was a game for Osweiler to break out, this would be the one.
The Texans, though, might choose to lean on Lamar Miller instead, especially if their defense manages to put up a respectable outing to keep the game close. Miller is seventh in rushing yards with 720 while the Raiders give up 4.7 yards per carry — tied for the second-worst average in the NFL.
